About us
I’m Paul and I’m the one behind the lens. I am an award-winning, published photographer with an obsession for creating beautiful images. I have a background in landscape photography, I like to spend as much time in the outdoors as I can, usually with our dogs or my camera or both.
I love dogs and the special relationship that humans have with them. I love to listen to people share stories about their own dogs. I know how powerful the bond between us and our dogs can be and I find it an immense privilege to be able to create lasting memories of those dogs and that bond.
I am Becks and I do just about everything else. I carry the treats, wrangle the dogs, help set up shots, pull leads out of view and leaves out of fur. Most importantly I ensure that your dog and you are safe, comfortable and enjoy yourselves during your session.
I have had dogs around me for most of my life. I love animals both big and small and used to look after orphaned possums and kangaroos too (Yes, I am Australian)
Finally, meet Willow, the inspiration behind More than a Dog Photography.
She is highly trained and 100% obedient. She is not allowed on the sofa or any furniture. We never give her the end of a piece of buttered toast, a morsel of sausage or anything else from our plates for that matter. We don’t allow her to dry herself by rolling around on the carpet or to wipe her face on our best rug after mealtime. She does not serve as a backup taste tester in our kitchen. We never chat to her as if she was human or sing to her either. She definitely has never enjoyed a runny poached egg with her breakfast after a weekend walk. She is never ever rewarded for simply looking cute. And finally and most importantly she has never slept on our bed.
Ok, so some of that might not quite be true.
